1. Who we are
TAK Ventures LLC ("TAK Ventures", "we", "us") provides consulting and software services, including the products operated at taktari.com, cornybot.com, and Porchlight. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to travisaking.com and to the services we sell from it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, email address, and any company details you send us when you enquire or engage us.
- Engagement content — material you share so we can do the work (documents, access to systems you authorize, business data you ask us to process).
- Billing details — handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits of the card, and billing contact information. We never receive or store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Basic request data — IP address, user agent, referring page, and pages visited. Used to keep the site available and to distinguish real visitors from automated crawlers.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share personal information with advertisers.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

4. Processors we use
We use a small number of vendors to run the business. Each receives only what it needs:

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to a successor entity in the event of a sale or reorganization of the business.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become engagements — up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Engagement records — for the life of the engagement plus 7 years, to satisfy tax and accounting requirements.
- Billing records — 7 years, as required for tax purposes.
- Basic request data — retained in aggregate; identifiable request logs are kept no longer than 90 days.
6. Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email travis@travisaking.com and we will respond within 30 days.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and for what purpose, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, so no opt-out mechanism is required.
EEA and UK (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are: contract (delivering an engagement you asked for), legitimate interests (keeping the site secure and answering enquiries), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records). You may also object to processing and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
7. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Secrets and credentials are stored in managed secret stores, not in application code. Access to client data is limited to what an engagement requires. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you without undue delay.
8. Children
Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our processors are primarily US-based. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for active clients, notify you by email.
